Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3: New clip reveals Rocket's past and production details.

The next MCU movie, Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3, had a new clip released on Tuesday (25). The video shows Rocket (Bradley Cooper) lying down with other test subjects of the High Evolutionary (Chukwudi Iwuji), discussing how they would like to be called when they are free. The film's director and screenwriter, James Gunn, shared some production details on his Twitter profile, including the confirmation of Linda Cardellini (Hawkeye) as Lylla, Asim Chaudhry (Sandman) as Teefs, and Mikaela Hoover (The Suicide Squad) as Floor. He also showed a photo of the actors filming the scene in their motion capture suits alongside Sean Gunn, who plays Rocket on set.

According to Gunn, this was the first day of filming for Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3, and the special effects process was so intense that they had to film all the motion capture and camera capture first. The process was meticulous, but the cast was extraordinary, and the editors and he knew they had something magical even before animating a single frame.

The cast includes the return of Chris Pratt, Zoë Saldaña, Dave Bautista (Drax), Vin Diesel (Groot), Bradley Cooper (Rocket), Karen Gillan (Nebula), and Pom Klementieff (Mantis). Among the newcomers, there's Will Poulter (The Chronicles of Narnia) as Adam Warlock and Maria Bakalova (Borat 2) as the voice of Cosmo the dog.
