Easter Egg 1: Icewind Dale Prison – Revel's End

At the beginning of the movie, the protagonist group is imprisoned in a prison located in the Icewind Dale region. After serving two years, their release is decided by members of the Lord's Alliance. This place is called Revel's End.

Revel's End is a hexagonal prison located in the northern part of Icewind Dale, near the Sea of Floating Ice. It houses individuals who have committed crimes in the Sword Coast region, often not minor offenses.
Revel's End is governed by the Lord's Alliance, a loose alliance of rulers from various towns in the North. The current members include Baldur's Gate, Mirabar, Neverwinter, Silverymoon, Waterdeep, and Yartar. There are also towns like Amphail, Daggerford, and Longsaddle, and, of course, the dwarves' stronghold, Mithral Hall. The inmates imprisoned in Revel's End are those who have committed serious crimes against one or more members of the Lord's Alliance and have been sentenced to long-term imprisonment (usually a year or longer). Additionally, these types of criminals often have some political connections that make them unreliable to be held in other prisons. For example, captured spies are usually brought here for incarceration.
Each member of the Lord's Alliance appoints a representative to Revel's End, and together they form a judgment organization called the Pardon Committee. It is rare for all ten council members to be present because Revel's End provides very limited comfortable facilities. When the Pardon Committee needs a decisive vote to determine whether to reduce a prisoner's sentence, the Warden, a neutral arbiter with no affiliation to any member of the Lord's Alliance, casts a crucial vote.
Note! The Lord of Neverwinter, who is a member of the Pardon Committee, is attending Revel's End. After watching the movie, we know that Fletcher, who was once a teammate of the main group, became the Lord of Neverwinter. From this detail, we can see that Fletcher had actually betrayed the main group a long time ago. Otherwise, with the abilities of the Lord of Neverwinter, it would have been easy to rescue him from the prison.
Easter Egg 2: Wildfolk - The Elk Tribe

In the movie, the barbarian woman Horga mentioned being exiled from her tribe, the Elk Tribe, because of her love for someone from a different race (I couldn't tell what race her ex-husband belonged to, not a dwarf nor a halfling). She wants to make the Elk Tribe regret their decision.
Pay attention to the deer-shaped emblem on Horga's chest - the Elk Tribe. They are a formidable barbarian tribe in the Icewind Dale region and even throughout the entire North. This tribe has a long history and is known for producing one of the most famous heroes in DND history - Wolfgar.

Wolfgar, the son of the Elk Tribe chieftain Beornegar, wielded Aegis Fang, a weapon crafted by the dwarf king Bruenor. He had quite the journey, venturing from the south to the north, and he was the main protagonist in DND novels (although he was later replaced by Drizzt). He is undoubtedly a prominent figure. The Elk Tribe is also the most detailed barbarian tribe described in the novels and has almost become the representative tribe of the North's barbarians. Horga's heritage can be described as "genuine and noble." She sacrificed too much for her ex-husband...
Easter Egg 3: Elminster, Mordenkainen, and Vallo


The movie mentions that the great-grandfather of the protagonist's warlock, Omar, is Elminster. Moreover, when the warlock attempts to attune with the Barrier Helm (translated as "sensing" in the movie), he repeatedly sees this old man. This old man is no ordinary character in DND...

The world in the movie is called Faerun, and the creator of the Faerun world is Ed Greenwood (known as "Greenwood"). Elminster, the mage, is rumored to be the character image of Ed Greenwood himself in DND. Elminster is a legend in the world of Faerun. He has traveled almost every corner of Faerun, teaching countless heroes. He is chosen by the goddess of magic, Mystra, and even received personal affection from the goddess.
And another fleeting but valuable name is "Mordenkainen." I specifically chose an image of Mordenkainen with hair from the 1st edition, before "Mordenkainen's Fantastic Adventure" was released.

In In the movie, the red-robed mage Sophina introduces the security measures of the Waterdeep vault with a simple statement: "It has Mordenkainen's arcane sigil." When Simon (the warlock) hears this name, he responds, "Possibly the most powerful wizard in the world could break it, but not me." Who is Mordenkainen?
Mordenkainen is the character played by D&D co-creator Gary Gygax himself during his role-playing sessions. He is one of the Circle of Eight in the Greyhawk world and a legendary wizard (in fact, considering Gary's influence, Mordenkainen's status goes far beyond the term "legendary"). With the character of Mordenkainen, Gary invented many spells in D&D that have endured to this day. It can be said that the name Mordenkainen is a symbol of prestige.

Easter Egg 4: Dungeons & Dragons
The main group appears more than once when they are forced to participate in the Festival of the Blazing Sun.

This Easter egg has a significant backstory. In 1982, Gary decided to collaborate with a film company to produce a series of D&D animated shows and even provided the voice for the Dungeon Master himself. This is the famous animated series Dungeons & Dragons. In the United States, a large number of children fell in love with D&D as a result. Unfortunately, after Gary left TSR in 1989, the series was shelved by the company. After D&D changed hands to Wizards of the Coast, there were no apparent signs of a significant comeback through several versions.

However, in the D&D 5th edition, after the publication of "Tales from the Yawning Portal" last year (possibly the year before), Wizards of the Coast reintroduced the villains from the animated series, the "Evil Alliance," into the adventures. In last year's "Dragon of Icespire Peak," as the D&D Starter Set, all the artwork used character designs from the series. This year, Wizards of the Coast released its new toy line and promised its official return to the D&D family in the future.
