How Many People Has John Wick Killed for a Dog in John Wick 4?

I just watched John Wick 4 for the second time, and it's the best gun-action movie of this era. The fourth film takes the action and cinematography to a whole new level. From the thrilling showdown of hot and cold weapons at the Osaka Intercontinental Hotel to the axe-wielding frenzy in a Berlin nightclub, and the gunfight amidst flowing traffic near the Arc de Triomphe, to the explosive combination of a Gen 12 shotgun and dragon's breath rounds in a house, followed by the relentless carnage culminating on the steps of the Sacré-Cœur Basilica in Paris, director Chad Stahelski's creativity leaves the audience exhilarated.

The physical comedy moments pay homage to the masters of silent film-era action such as Buster Keaton and Harold Lloyd, pushing the limits until the audience finds themselves laughing uncontrollably despite the violent scenes.

As a pure action movie, it doesn't require deep analysis. Instead, I found myself wondering how many people John Wick killed to avenge his wife and his Beagle puppy, leaving shattered families in his wake. Seizing the opportunity for a second viewing, I attempted to count John Wick's kills in the fourth film from memory.

How Many People Has John Wick Killed for a Dog in the First Tree Movies ?

My count is approximate since it's based on memory, and corrections are welcome.

John Wick: Chapter 4 Kill Count:

Desert: 4 kills on horseback (3 goons and 1 elder).

New York: Carone (RIP Iconic Slave Role).

Osaka: 1 henchman with an arrow in the neck, about 6 casualties in the first round, a total of 7.

Osaka rooftop: 1 henchman headshot, 2 henchmen killed by a bow and arrow, 4 killed by John Wick, and 3 killed by Asuka. Assuming the 3-man group of antagonists belonged to the main characters' side, the total count here is 12 kills, with 1 casualty, a total of 13.

Kitchen retreat: 2 sumo wrestlers fight 4 goons, with casualties on both sides. Koji's side loses 3 men, while the antagonists lose 4, for a total of 13.

Caine's area: 5 people (although they didn't die, let's count them as potential targets for assassins).

John and Asuka: 1 person was killed falling down an escalator, 3 killed by Asuka in close combat, 1 killed by a random knife attack on the stairs, 6 killed by John Wick, 2 killed by Koji's dad with a samurai sword, for a total of 13.

Exhibition hall: 6 people were knocked down by John Wick's pistol and knife, and 10 were killed with a combination of bo staff, pistol, rifle, and knife, for a total of 16.
Outdoors: John Wick kills 1 person, Nobody and his dog takes down 3.

Caine killed Koji.

Berlin nightclub office: Caine shot wildly and killed 3, John Wick killed 3, then Caine killed 3 with a cane, and Nobody and his dog killed 3, for a total of 12. Nightclub: 7 people were killed with an axe and a gun, and 1 person fell and broke his neck from the stairs.

Paris street: 1 was killed by gunshots, 1 was killed by a collision, 1 driver was killed, 1 reinforcement was killed by a headshot from the antagonist's driver, 1 was killed by repeated car collisions, 1 was killed by a 3-man group with guns, 1 was killed by hitting his head on a railing, for a total of 7.

Arc de Triomphe: 1 person was killed by a headshot in reverse, 8 people were killed by 2 cars by spinning donuts, 4 were killed after the car crashes, 2 were killed in traffic, 3 were killed after flying through the air in slow motion, and finally, Nobody and John Wick killed 8 goons from 2 cars, for a total of 35.

Old house: 1 person was killed by a motorcycle to the face, 2 were killed by guns, 1 was killed by a dog, 2 were killed in the hallway, 1 was killed on the stairs, 5 were killed by Nobody, 2 were killed by John Wick who acquired the Gen 12 artifact, and started the most satisfying killing spree in the movie. In the first long shot, he used a flame-thrower round to kill 13 people. Immediately after, Nobody killed 3 with a Marlin1894. In the second overhead shot, the dog killed 1 person, and John Wick killed 5. In just a few minutes, 43 people were killed.

The Stairs: 2 people on the first step, 4 on the split path, 6 on the second step, 7 on the third step, 3 on the fourth step, 3 on the fifth step, and 5 on the final few steps (then they started over again, haha).

The Stairs: Caine and John Wick killed 10 people together. John Wick disassembled his shotgun and stabbed 2 people with it, while 1 person was killed in the background. In the end, the three of them teamed up to take down the big boss Chidi, and the Stairs ended up with a total of 44 kills.

Spoiler alert！

Basilique du Sacre Coeur: John Wick faced off against the main villain, the High Table's Elder, with the help of his allies. In the end, he managed to take down the Elder and escape.

Overall kill count (tentative): 227.

Adding the kills from the previous three John Wick movies, the total comes to 635 kills.
