It has been three years since I last watched the movie version of One Piece (2022). I can't believe it's been over a decade since I last saw Shanks. I haven't kept up with the comics for many years, so seeing Shanks make a real appearance brought back a sense of encountering a legendary icon. Shuichi Ikeda's voice is incredibly reassuring; whenever he appears, all worries seem to vanish.
In the movie, witnessing "Red Hair" Shanks and Luffy performing the same attack in different worlds creates a powerful sense of inheritance. It's truly heartwarming. The complex relationship between Shanks and Uta, filled with love and hate, is beyond words. I experienced a mix of emotions by the end.
The songs in the movie are absolutely fantastic. It's rare to see such lively performances in an animated film. It's not just about singing and special effects; the storytelling skills and abstract visuals truly resonate with the audience. The music team behind the movie is incredibly talented, and seeing the names of so many gifted composers in the credits was a delight. Personally, I adore the ending theme song. The final scenes of the movie create a feeling of worldwide peace ( ´ ▽ ` ).

I enjoyed the movie so much that I immediately bought another ticket after my first viewing. In fact, I helped organize a special One Piece movie-watching event.
