Rick & Morty: 10 Coolest or Quirkiest Aliens

When we think of alien movies and TV shows, names like 'E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial,' 'Alien,' 'Independence Day,' and 'Arrival' often come to mind. Yet, there's an animated series that surpasses them all in its portrayal of diverse and fascinating alien races - 'Rick and Morty.'

'Rick and Morty' is a hilarious show that, beyond its humor and profanity, delves into intricate sci-fi concepts. It introduces a plethora of alien species, which I personally divide into two categories: intriguing ones with imaginative traits and hilariously absurd ones that tickle our funny bones.

Here's my ranking of the top ten extraterrestrial entities from 'Rick and Morty.' Which ones do you love the most? Share your thoughts in the comments.

NO.10 Gromflomites

Gromflomites, insectoid aliens, are the leading species of the Galactic Federation, often appearing as soldiers.

Their dark green bodies resemble a fusion of flies and mantises, with droopy lips that transform into pincers when stimulated.

Speaking of Gromflomites, one name must be shed light on - Krombopulos Michael, the most notorious assassin. Equipped with weapons and armor, his sole aim is to flawlessly execute various assassination missions!

NO.9 Gearpeople

A bio-mechanical race that live in Gear City. They consume gear-based food and have transparent gear-formed bodies.

Engineer Gearhead can be counted as Rick's friend, but he doesn't like being called "Gearhead," finding it too crude of a name. It even led to a big argument between them.

NO.8 Shleemypants

Shleemypants is an eternal and all-knowing Time Cop, possessing the power of time travel. As an alien, he serves as a multidimensional law enforcer, safeguarding the multiverse from those who disrupt space-time continuum, like morty. His weapon is a live, slug-like creature named Chris. With a huge mouth on his head, he loves using colorful language.

N0.7 Plutonians

Plutonians are inhabitants of Pluto. They almost all look the same in orange, with antennas on heads. They also share a common uncertainty: whether Pluto is a planet. Getting smaller due to excessive exploitation, it has been removed from the list of planets, and they really care about this issue.

NO.6 Fart

This alien creature is basically a fart, but this mysterious gas has a variety of abilities. It can engage in telepathic communication with any living being and even sing soothing songs like "MOONMAN." Its most potent power, however, is the ability to create gold. The entire universe desires to have such a fart.

NO.5 Cromulons

Cromulons appear a cluster of heads roughly the size of a planet. They all possess immense power; a single one of them can cause drastic weather changes and natural disasters on a planet.

Cromulons teleport one planet after another to the set of Planet Music, a reality television show. Residents on the planets have to prove their talent and showmanship through a spectacular musical performance. Boring planets that fail to qualify for the performance will face disintegration by the colossal plasma-ray cannon.

By the way, Rick and Morty represent Earth with the song "Get Schwifty" in the competition. You definitely can't miss it!

NO.4 Gazorpians

Gazorpians are an alien species living on Gazorpazorp, distinguished by two arms on their heads. On this planet, they're divided into upper and lower classes based on gender.

The upper class consists of evolved female Gazorpians who've established an advanced matriarchal culture in the Sky Citadel. They enjoy entertainment, education, and have a keen focus on fashion and hairstyles, much like humans.

However, the lower class male Gazorpians live a primitive life. These muscular red creatures engage in violence, warfare, and mating, essentially serving as walking weapons from birth. Their existence is marked by aggression.

In the episode "Morty's Mind Blowers," a group of captured female Gazorpians is seen opposite Rick and Morty in a zoo.

NO.3 Garblovians

Garblovians are an alien race in the Rick and Morty multiverse. They communicate with seemingly nonsensical phrases like "Aga blah blah" or "Gaggablaghblagh," expecting other races to understand. Despite their ugly appearance and large green bodies, they appear to take pleasure in self-destructive explosions, leaving behind pools of blue goo. Yet the cause of these explosions remains unknown.

What's even grosser is that they seem to eat the gooey remains of their fellow exploded Garblovians.

NO.2 Mr. Meeseeks

Mr. Meeseeks is my favorite alien, and I really wish I had a friend like that. With such one around, I wouldn't have to worry about anything anymore. I could just tell him my goals, and they would help me accomplish them.

Yes! Mr. Meeseeks is a quirky alien species known for fulfilling specific tasks, disappearing once a purpose is served. Typically, they have a lifespan of only a few hours. Their resistance to harm, brief existence, and gradual decline in sanity make for intriguing characteristics. The longer the Meeseeks stay alive, the more sanity they begin to lose. So Rick warns the Smith family to keep their tasks simple.

NO.1 BirdPerson

Birdperson, also known as Phoenixperson, is a friend of Rick. He has seemingly known Morty since he was a baby, as revealed in the episode "Get Schwifty".

He was first introduced in the episode "Ricksy Business", where he attended Rick's party looking for a new mate. In "Star Mort: Rickturn of the Jerri", Phoenixperson - under the control of the Galactic Federation - comes face to face with Rick, and fights him, almost killing him, before being shut down by Space Beth.

Most fans of the show agree that Bird Person is their favorite supporting character. His is my faviorte, too, largely due to his dry sense of humor.
