A new cinematic approach for me is the recent film "TRAP" or for friends "THE TRAP" Without giving you a spoiler of the final outcome, I will briefly explain why for me this film fits perfectly into this category and why for me it is easily an 8/10.
"Trap" is a film that attacks a simple plot and goes straight to the point, hiding few things through the narration of the story in a fairly controlled and simple environment. A film written, produced and directed by M. Night Shyamalan, and being part of the cast (Josh Hartnett as Cooper) where for me he has a quite good performance and that represents very well the characteristics of the character within the plot, we also have (Saleka as Lady Raven)
(Alison Pill as Rachel) and (Ariel Donoghue as Cooper's daughter).
A film that really surprised me since I did not think it was so explanatory and revealing when it came to touching on a controversial subject such as (Psychopathy in serial killers) and how a negative action in childhood can trigger an avalanche of emotions in Cooper's life, leading him to a very dark path.

The plot of the film from the first moment presents you with something simple, which is to get to the point and through that premise develop what was previously planned, which is that Cooper is a serial killer who has been in hiding for years and has committed his crimes so well elaborated that nobody knows who he is or why he does it, through an error that at the end of the film we see why it happens, a Lady Raven concert is announced, which Cooper's daughter is a fan and he takes her to the concert, without realizing it, once inside the concert, he realizes that it is all a trap to capture the serial killer "The Butcher" we see a very good staging and development of how Cooper develops and moves in his environment to escape and not be captured by the police. And this is the premise of the plot, but I'd like to highlight three key points that, for me, are a highlight of this film.

1. The soundtrack: The soundtrack throughout the film is spectacular, as it's basically based on a concert, and there's constant music playing both when the protagonists are watching the show and when Cooper is outside planning his escape. For me, a highlight is how well-balanced and produced the songs are within the film. Okay, but understand me correctly. There are few parts that don't feature this type of urban/trap music. There comes a point in the film where there are soundtracks more appropriate to the moment in question, since they aren't present at the concert in question.

2. The photography shots and colors. Look, I'm quite critical of this kind of thing, but something they do very well here is this: the red colors with the blacks at very key moments make this movie a 10 without any doubt. We also have parts where the protagonist is caught up in a fight with his more evil counterpart and they use a high-angle shot to show us that duality, which is simply incredible. Not to mention when they use the main shots of faces to show us a different angle and a better perspective of the protagonists. For me, it's simply a great idea and such good camera handling that if I didn't mention it, I'd be a complete fool.
3- The handling of the story and the development of the script is a matter, simple, very good, it does not seem at all loaded and it develops at a quite well argumentative level, we see how the psychopathy in our protagonist develops and unleashes while each of his strategies fail, being obsessive compulsive, a very similar action in psychopathy, we see how it develops so well that it is sublime during the plot, making an interesting final development and I can bet you that you will not know how the film will end since they use a more conventional plot for an unconventional ending.
In short, the film is extraordinary, unmissable and that if you
