What if Obi-Wan Kenobi was a Sith Lord.

In the vast universe of the Star Wars saga, there exists a reality in which Anakin Skywalker, the Chosen One, never succumbed to the dark side of the Force. However, Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, who swore to his dying master, Qui-Gon Jinn, to train the young Padawan, would not suffer the same "luck."

After Darth Maul killed his Master, Obi-Wan, who had barely finished his training, was consumed by grief. Qui-Gon was like a brother to him, having taught him everything he knew about the Force. Upon returning to Coruscant, he spent weeks locked away, reflecting, suffering, before beginning the training of his new Padawan.

Obi-Wan managed to keep his intrusive thoughts out of his mind, with great discipline, for years. He turned Anakin into a great Jedi, wise like him, a very good warrior, agile and strategic. He was proud of his apprentice, but lamented that his beloved master, Qui-Gon, who had urged the Jedi Council to train young Anakin, never lived to see him become a Jedi.

During his lifetime, Obi-Wan broke the Jedi oath by having secret, but brief, relationships with several women. Among them, Satine Kryze, the future ruler of Mandalore, stood out. Before the start of the Clone Wars, they parted ways but maintained communication. It was then that Kenobi was imprisoned by Count Dooku, who told him that the Republic was controlled by a Sith Lord.

During the war, Darth Maul, whom everyone believed dead, developed an ingenious plan to carry out his revenge on the Jedi master who, years ago, mutilated him. Drawing him into the conflict on Mandalore, Maul murdered Satine in front of a powerless Kenobi, who was filled with rage and anger. He wanted blood.

Back on Coruscant, Darth Sidious contacted Maul; the plan they had both hatched had worked. Kenobi was off the rails, and the most powerful Jedi of all, Anakin Skywalker, was now even more vulnerable and susceptible to his influence. The Jedi Council ordered Anakin to spy on Chancellor Palpatine, and Obi-Wan to travel to Utapau to bring General Grievous to justice.

Obi-Wan, now blinded by his thirst for revenge, devised his own strategy. He ordered Ahsoka Tano to Utapau to confront Grievous, while he pursued Maul. Once again, in a direct duel, Kenobi won. But not before hearing Maul's dying breath: The Republic and the Jedi were doomed, the Sith's vengeance would come. But before that, Kenobi's revenge arrived.

Back in the capital, Obi-Wan arrived at Palpatine's chambers, revealing that he knew his true identity and that he had killed Maul. Kenobi, once a wise Jedi, now turned to the Dark Side of the Force, convinced that if he had used his full rage earlier, he could have saved his master—and the woman he loved. Thus, Darth Rage was born.

Sidious ordered him to Mustafar and wipe out the Trade Federation. Meanwhile, Anakin realized he had been right in his suspicions: Chancellor Palpatine was a Sith Lord. He warned the Jedi Council and aided in his apprehension. He never wavered and helped Master Windu put an end to this Sith Lord. However, he felt a strong disturbance in the Force; something was not right with his master.

On Mustafar, the two clashed. Anakin couldn't believe it, didn't want to: "Please don't make me kill you," he said. After exchanging several blows, Skywalker couldn't reason with his master, who demanded the high ground. In a move reminiscent of Kenobi's years ago against Maul, Anakin leaped at his master and ran him through with his lightsaber. Obi-Wan fell to his knees.

"I'm sorry, Anakin. I failed you," a dying Obi-Wan cried. "I failed you, Master. I'm so sorry," Anakin wept as he held him. Kenobi answered, "No, you didn't. You are the Chosen One, my brother. I love you," as his eyes closed for the last time. In that final moment, as life and his last breath faded away, beside the young man he trained, his brother, Obi-Wan Kenobi, finally found peace.
