I loved it. It's one of my favorites from the last season.I really like the Netflix series Love, Death & Robots; it's an anthology of different stories, themes, and styles of animation that anyone can enjoy, whether they're interested in a particular episode or, like me, watch them back-to-back. While watching the fourth season, I came across one of my favorite episodes. The story is about a cyborg woman who, in the midst of her plan to avenge those who killed her husband and community, comes across a peculiar pet that keeps her company.
Qué me gusto:
1) The animation: The combination of photorealistic visuals and the visualization of a human from the meta-modernist era that has already been seen in other episodes of the series (the sixth chapter of the fourth season, for example); as the protagonist's house is a spaceship that floats in the exosphere of a planet that resembles Saturn, the flashbacks of the attack, and the affection that the peculiar pet inspires, undoubtedly one of the best photorealistic episodes of the entire series.
2) The design of Noisy (also known as Little Nose for Profits): There's not much to describe here, it's adorable! I think its peculiar and unconventional design is adorable, even in the three different forms it takes throughout the episode.
3) The end: After doing some research, I discovered that the episode is an adaptation of a short story by Bruce Sterling called Schismatrix Plus. In the original story, Rose eats Noisy, but in the animated version, it's the other way around: Noisy eats Rose after she (fortunately) manages to avenge her husband and community, who were killed by the alien Shifters. In an unusual twist, Noisy leaves a message of hope and faith. In my opinion, by eating Rose, Noisy completes her life cycle by getting revenge. With her habitat destroyed, she must adapt to something new, and thanks to her metamorphic tendencies, she manages to advance and become something greater than herself.

What was just okay?
1) Episode duration: The short film is about 13 minutes long. It could have been a slightly longer episode to learn about Rose's life before the tragedy, or how the place where she lives was created (it's a kind of ship connected by a key to different rocks that rotate around the exosphere of a planet that is not Earth). It would have provided context for how she is so self-sufficient and why she accepts Noisy instead of other resources that the alien race Investors have.
What did I dislike?
