Peliplat's Events

In Peliplat you can find EVERYTHING related to the Buenos Aires International Film Festival (FICPBA). It is one of the most important film events in Argentina, with headquarters in La Plata, activities in Merlo and screenings in 15 municipalities. It aims to be the official Festival that boosts other existing festivals. It will focus on the identity and diversity of Buenos Aires.

"Peliplat Presents" is a series of events to empower and bring to life the vision of independent filmmakers. On this occasion, we celebrated the presentation of "Un Día Patrio", a fascinating miniseries directed by Matías de Poli, which features a group of old friends who reunite during Buenos Aires’ iconic snowfall of 2007, in Argentina. The event was a party full of joy, where attendees had the opportunity to enjoy drinks and listen to talented local bands.

The 24th BAFICI (for its initials in Spanish) took place from April 19 to May 1, 2023. It is one of the most important film events in Latin America, which every year brings together the most outstanding films by national and international filmmakers. It showcases innovative and avant-garde cinema projects, those films and short films that are not usually featured in theaters during the rest of the year. The festival also presents activities on the streets, open-air screenings, workshops, lectures and special events in the City of Buenos Aires.

Peliplat After Hours is a series of events where Peliplat’s community can gather and talk about series and films while enjoying the company of renowned actors, directors and film critics. This first edition took place within the framework of BAFICI 24, and was attended by renowned figures from the film industry, platform users, directors, artists and national and international writers.

The Cartagena International Film Festival was the first film event in Latin America.
