A Russian adaption of J.R.R. Tolkiens The Hobbit.

The coincidental pairing between Victor Fleming's 'The Wizard of Oz' with Pink Floyd's album The Dark Side of the Moon as soundtrack for the movie, combining some of the images with the lyrics and the sound effects used in most of the tracks, is an unique experience and a magical project that takes both medias into a whole new level.

This movie is set in the mid 1800s and involves poet Edgar Allan Poe. A serial killer is on the loose and murdering people using Poe's descriptions from his published stories and poems. Poe teams up with Detective Fields, a Baltimore policeman to try and catch the killer by using his knowledge of the descriptions. Even though the stories are fictional, they start to become reality and the killer is a step ahead of them. Then it takes on a personal note as Poe's lover becomes a target. Will they stop the killer in time?

Long ago in a faraway land, a young wizard's apprentice named Alerik discovers a pathway under the wall that surround his land to a shining city alive with the magic of Christmas. He meets a young girl, and learns that on a Christmas Eve years ago, the Dark Wizard broke the staff of Christmas, dividing their people and splitting the land in two. But all is not as it seems, and Alerik must find a way to right the wrongs of the past to restore the magic of Christmas, before it is lost forever.

Enteng Kabisote (Vic Sotto) wants to retire as the perennial hero of Engkantasya and have a normal life with his family without the magical elements. Ina Montecillo (Ai-Ai delas Alas) longs to have the right partner to be with for the rest of her life. One day, Engkantasya's evil fairy Satana puts Enteng under a powerful evil spell to make him fall in love with another woman, and when he meets Ina he exerts every effort to get her to fall in love with him, and she slowly opens her heart to this new opportunity for love. Enteng tries his best to be a father to Ina's children, who aren't fully supportive of him yet. But when their relationship gets serious, Ina discovers the truth: Enteng already has a family.

As they struggle to find their way in the new China, the people of the small community of Zhudi on the outskirts of Shanghai come to Mr. Che, a local fortune teller, to reveal their fears and desires and to seek guidance. Bankers and housewives, rich and poor, young and old look to Mr. Che for a glimpse into their futures. Through the juxtaposition of the real daily lives of the people of Zhudi and the inner lives they reveal to Mr. Che, a complex portrait of modern Chinese society comes into focus.

Mr. Choade, the director of The House of Choade, a Grand Guignol theatre, has made an evil bargain with the Medicine Man, who has promised to help him make an artistic leap. A young girl, Linda, who has just been released from a mental hospital, gets a job performing at the House of Choade and becomes embroiled in these machinations. Linda's ex-girlfriend Roxy re-connects with her and attempts to save her. This film, a dark comedy by first time director James Habacker, was shot in Manhattan and features many luminaries from the downtown performance art scene centered around the Slipper Room.

After a confusing incident, a Christian man flees to his cousin's home in the countryside and is forced to pose as a fortune teller.

Pierre (Pierre Richard-Willm), a young lawyer, has enormous debts due to his mistress Florence (Marie Bell), and her whims of luxury life. Pierre has gone too far and put the family firm in jeopardy. They ask him to expatriate. To avoid scandal, Pierre joins the Foreign Legion. In Morocco, near the desert, Pierre goes with his comrades of the Legion to a bar-restaurant-brothel, owned by a shady character, Mr. Clement (Charles Vanel). Clement lives more or less with Ms.Blanche (Françoise Rosay) who is a fortune teller with cards, as a hobby. But Clement is also after his girls now and then. Pierre is still obsessed with Florence but he meets Irma (Marie Bell), one of Clement's girls, who is the double of Florence except for hair color. Irma has had an accident and has lost part of her memory at a certain point of her recent past, and Pierre slowly persuades himself she is Florence, but cannot remember it. Advised by Ms.Blanche, Irma finally accepts to act as if she was Florence because she is falling in love with Pierre. Near the end of his contract with the Legion, Pierre receives news from France. He has inherited a fortune. He asks Irma to come to France with him, and they make plans. But Clement tries to rape Irma and Pierre has to kill him.

The Wizard Lord Cravlock takes warriors from there time periods and makes them fight to the death for his evil pleasure.

Four fantastical heroes are sent to the real world but when an evil sorcerer follows them they must combat him and his army of ogres before he can conquer the real world.

A Korean goddess and a sorcerer have been embroiled in a thousand year long argument with each other. They call upon seven different humans to decide for them once and for all which one of them is in the wrong. The god that the humans choose will be put to death.

In 1942 Warsaw, a Polish prostitute is murdered in a sadistic way. Major Grau (Omar Sharif), an Agent from German Intelligence who believes in justice, is in charge of the investigation. An eyewitness saw a German General leaving the building after a scream of the victim. A further investigation shows that three Generals do not have any alibi for that night: General Tanz (Peter O'Toole), Major General Klaus Kahlenberge (Donald Pleasence), and General von Seidlitz-Gabler (Charles Gray). The three avoid direct contact with Major Grau and become potential suspects. As Major Grau gets close to them, he is promoted and sent to Paris. In 1944 Paris, this quartet is reunited, and Major Grau continues his investigation. Meanwhile, a plan for killing Adolf Hitler is plotted by his high command, a romance between Ulrike von Seidlitz-Gabler (Joanna Pettet) and Lance Corporal Kurt Hartmann (Sir Tom Courtenay) is happening and Inspector Morand (Philippe Noiret) is helping Major Grau in his investigation. The story ends in 1965, in Hamburg, with another, similar crime.
