Harry wins, and Polly indignantly refuses to marry him; but Harry continues to protect her though Pecos Bill tells Polly that Harry killed her father. Harry and Hank rescue Polly from Mexicans and again, later, from Pecos Bill. Learning that Bill is actually the murderer, Polly rewards Harry's exploits with her hand in marriage.

While on a plane ride back to Toronto from a writing assignment, Margot meets Daniel, a handsome stranger.
