Tim Doherty

Tim Doherty is an actor known for The Equalizer 2 (2018) and Patriots Day (2016). Tim was born in Dorchester, Massachusetts to Rita and Marty Doherty and grew up in the small coastal community of Humarock, Massachusetts. Prior to Tim's late introduction to film, in which he landed a principal role in Patriots Day (2016), Tim joined the U.S. Army in 1993 and trained to become a communications specialist. He served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard and voluntarily extended his enlistment following the September 11, 2001 attacks. Tim deployed downrange with the 772nd Military Police Co. to Afghanistan in 2002. Tim's desire to protect others led him to become a Police Officer in 2004 and he soon earned a spot on his agency's SWAT Unit, where he was assigned to the anti-terrorism team.
