Biography

Bahar Beihaghi is a New York City-based actor, born and raised in Tehran, Iran. Holding a BS in civil engineering and trained in Le Coq at L'ECOLE POINT FIXE, she became a full time member at Fanous-e-Honar-e-Pars Theater Company in Tehran, leading to her performances as "Ismene" at "Theater Festival in Dion, Greece" and "Medea" at "Anis Gras, Paris" alongside her other theatrical experiences in Tehran as an acting coach and Farsi-French Translator. Her recent credits are "Mrs. Smith" in "The Bald Soprano", "Laila" in "A Second Birth" and "Samar" in "Red Wednesday". Bahar is an Actors Studio Drama School graduate where she received her MFA. Trained in The Method, her favorite roles at ASDS are: Laura in The Glass Menagerie, Debbie in Face Divided, Woman in The Treatment, Madam Popova in The Bear, Roberta in Danny & the Deep Blue Sea. Bahar enjoys singing, contemporary dance, Ballroom and Flamenco and has recently started Kickboxing. She is also passionate about teaching Farsi and act
