Biography
Catie Turner was born on February 14, 2000 and grew up in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. She auditioned unsuccessfully for season 15 of American Idol (2016). She auditioned again two years later for Season 16 (the series' first on ABC after leaving the Fox network) and was voted by viewers into the top six, with original compositions "21st Century Machine" and "Pity" and covers of songs including "Bad Romance", "Call Me", "Take Me to Church", "Havana", "Once Upon a Dream" and "Oops!...I Did it Again". Since the season ended, Catie has performed onstage with American Idol season 10 contestant Haley Reinhart and toured across the United States in the summer of 2018 with the American Idol Live! tour.
