Biography

James was born in Germany while his father served in the US Army and was stationed in Wiesbaden. As a child James moved around and attended school in Key West, FL, Laurel, MD, Granby, MA and graduated from North Babylon Senior H.S.. in Long Island, NY. James played football, baseball and was Captain of the wrestling team. In 1989 James joined the United States Marine Corps and was in the Infantry serving in The Persian Gulf War. James was a machine gun squad leader during his time in the Gulf and was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal & Combat Action Ribbon among others. After leaving the Marine Corps James joined the NYPD, he served in the 79th Precinct in Bedford-Stuyvesant Brooklyn and later was selected for the Emergency Service Unit. The last six years of his career James served as a Counter Sniper in ESU and was awarded both the Combat Cross & Medal for Valor by Mayor Mike Bloomberg. After retirement James was asked to provide security for actors filming in New York City.
