Burak Safa Calis

Burak Safa Calis completed his secondary education in Izmir (Smyrna). In 2008 he got accepted into Fine Arts Department (Acting) at Maltepe University with full scholarship. Between the years of 2010-2012 he completed his internship as a production assistant at Oyun Atölyesi, one of the most prominent theaters in Istanbul. After his graduation he took part in GalataPerform's play "It was a Calm and Chilly Morning the Day I Started My Journey". He is also taking part as an actor in "Stain" which is currently performed at GalataPerform. His other projects at GalataPerform are: one-person performance "Agamemnon: I got back from supermarket and beat up my son" by Rodrigo Garcia (2015) and "Shell" (2015-2016). He attended the playwriting workshops at New Text New Theater Project in 2012-2013 during which he wrote one short play.
