Will Rowlands

William John Kelly (Will Rowlands) was born in Hammersmith, London, on September 22nd 1980. He is the second eldest child of Melvyn Kelly and Jane Rowlands, who separated when he was 2 years old. Will, his siblings and his mother moved to Portsmouth, Hampshire where he spent his childhood, taking his mothers maiden name, Rowlands. He attended Court Lane School and Springfield School, playing for both of the schools Football Teams, winning League and Cup Championships in 4 consecutive years. During his time in Secondary School, Will enlisted into the Army Cadet Force (ACF) at the age of 13yrs. He excelled in the ACF reaching the Rank of A/Company Sergeant Major, 4 Star Master Cadet. He was also awarded the Gold Braid for Meritorious Service. He left the ACF at the age of 17yrs and rejoined as an Adult Instructor (now Army Reserves), holding the rank of Sergeant, until leaving at the age of 20 yrs.
