Sean Michael Thomas

Sean Michael Thomas was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia, later moving to the United States where he studied voice and theater at the Interlochen Arts Academy. He began his career in the broadcasting industry in radio, first in Indiana for 1490 WKBV, WFMG and Kicks 96,then transitioning to television broadcast journalism. Sean is a multi-media journalist and an anchor at RT, a global news network headquartered in Moscow, Russia. Sean joined RT in 2009 and since then has covered a wide variety of topics, including the Fukushima Tsunami and Nuclear disaster, presidential elections in Ukraine, federal elections in Iraq, and the Moscow Metro terrorist bombings of 2010. Through his work as an international journalist, Sean was able to pursue his passion for acting as a hobby, mainly getting small cameo roles as a "Generic American" in the Russian film industry.
