Biography

Nikolaus Roessner grew up acting with Vienna's 'Wiener Kindertheater' and later the 'Stuthe' company. He portrayed an array of roles in stage plays by William Shakespeare (Twelfth Night, Taming of the Shrew) , Carlo Goldoni (Le baruffe chiozzotte) , Friedrich Duerrenmatt (Der Besuch der alten Dame), Johann Nestroy (Der Zerissene, der Talisman) and Jean Anouilh (Le Bal de voleurs). He also featured in episodes of TV dramas 'Julia Eine Ungewoehnliche Frau' (S3,E7) and 'Komissar Rex' (S8,E5). After university studies of history and economical sciences at Cambridge University and St. Gallen University, respectively, he moved to London, UK, to pursue business interests. In 2016, he co-produced his first short-film 'Blackmoor', which was shortlisted at the Cambridge Film Festival. In 2017 he co-produced a first public performance of Dave Hall's 'North of the Sunset - Thelonious Monk and the Jazz Baroness'
