Alex Cowgill

Born near Bradford in West Yorkshire, he is an only child but has a large extended family of cousins in the US and Australia. Alex went to school at Malsis, the same school Oscar winner, Simon Beaufoy attended and was hooked on acting from his first theatre performance aged 8. He later went on to Woodhouse Grove where his love of acting was cemented. He wanted to perform on stage and screen professionally from his early Teens and was fortunate at 18 years old to be accepted in the prestigious East 15 School of Acting where he graduated in 2017. Best known so far for his roles in Sky Arts series, Urban Myths, portraying the son of Charles Dickens, Charley Dickens, The Intern in James Arthurs' Naked, and in the 2018 ITV Drama, The Investigator where he portrayed the younger incarnation of serial killer Angus Sinclair.
