Joseph A Olivera

Joseph A. Olivera is an American screenwriter, director, and producer. One of four children, he was raised in a Northwest suburb of Chicago. He started his career in 2004, attending Chicago's famous The Second City e.t.c., where he learned the fundamentals of improv and acting before moving to California to attend the New York Film Academy. His additional training extended to Piven Theatre in Evanston, Ill., and The Illinois Institute of Art-Schaumburg, from which he graduated with a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Visual Effects and Motion Graphics in 2011. You might recognize Joseph from his appearance in LG Electronics home appliance videos and season 1 of the serial drama Prison Break, but he is best known for "Indemnify," his short film entry submitted for the HBO series Project Greenlight in 2014.
