Byron L. Hopkins

Byron L. Hopkins is a former United States Marine with an Honorable discharge and 2 tours to Afghanistan under his belt. He was born in Peoria Illinois to Barron Hopkins and Le Angela Law. He is the second oldest child of 4 siblings. Byron was always the class clown and wanted to perform for whoever would listen so he could put a smile on their faces. Growing up poor in Los Angeles, he and his family didn't have much but they had each other. Byron found his first ways to entertainment as a child when he reenacted TV shows and cartoons with his older brother: Fresh Prince, In living Color, Coming to America, etc. At a young age Byron was a natural entertainer. He excelled in theater and drama from both middle school and high school but knew that wouldn't save his family from poverty so he ignored his love for movies and television to pursue his sports career as a basketball player instead.
