Connie's memoir TOP ROCK GIRLY JOCK--A CHICAGO RADIO FIRST! tells how she became America's 1st Female Rock Jock on AM radio in a major market. She also was the 1st female in America to broadcast live on an all digital radio station -WJMK - 104.3 HD2 as announced on All Access. She was entered into the U.S. Congressional Record -twice. Connie was considered for the hostess opening on ABC-TV which eventually went to Oprah! In her radio career, she partied with Elton John, Stevie Nicks & Fleetwood Mac, Bobby Vinton, & more. She met Elvis & had a date with Neil Diamond and always wished it had been the other way around. A native Chicagoan, of Polish descent, she often ended her shows with "Jeszcze Polska nie Zginela" - the first line of the Polish national anthem.
