Clayton Davis is the Film Awards Editor at Variety, the legendary 115-year-old trade publication. There, he hosts the new weekly video series "The Take" with co-host Elizabeth Wagmeister, the weekly podcast "Variety Awards Circuit" and the documentary video series "Doc Dreams." In addition, he moderates various industry conversations with actors, filmmakers and other celebrities. An expert on all things related to the Oscars, Emmys and other awards shows, he's also a fierce and outspoken advocate for diversity and representation in Hollywood and media. He founded and was the Editor-in-Chief of AwardsCircuit.com for 12 years. He's the founder and president of the Latino Entertainment Journalists Association and a member and on the Board of Directors for the Critics Choice Association.
