Biography

Nick Sarkisov was born in Tbilisi, Georgia. He grew up as the son of a Soviet diplomat in an oppressive regime where he had a lack of contact with the arts, particularly his future passion, cinema. His extensive travels helped him to realize his love for beauty, landscape, and storytelling. In 2011 Nick enrolled in the film studies program at UCLA, where he worked on numerous student projects, expanding his once stifled knowledge of cinema. After finishing his studies, Nick worked as a reader for Even Chernov before moving back to Georgia where he wrote and directed his first feature, entitled Krasny. The acclaim garnered from Krasny led him to direct 30 episodes of Luna, a popular Russian television show.
