Biography

Born in Richmond, Virginia to local civil rights activist, educator and magistrate Magdalene Freeman Turner and minister Reverend Jacob Turner, Jr, Jantonio Turner from an early age had a calling towards entertainment resulting in lead roles in local theater and high school productions. Fresh out of college and while working for Procter and Gamble in Corporate America, Turner came up with the idea of a gospel music festival in the festival capital of the world, New Orleans, Louisiana. After his first production fell short of his hopes and aspirations, Turner ventured to Los Angeles, CA. He would find opportunities as a writer and local public access producer before coming up with his next great idea of America's first national cable and television network totally dedicated to American football.
