John Beckham

John Lombardy Beckham is a filmmaker and musician from Prince George's County, Maryland. After getting his Masters of Business Administration and being promoted to sales manager at a highly regarded Information Technology company, John did what any new father would do - left his job to make a documentary film. He is the creator, co-director and producer of the SHOWTIME sports documentary "Basketball County," about his Maryland home and why it has become the most prominent area for the sport. Prior to his corporate career and Basketball County, John produced various music projects, including the debut album from lowercase letters, and wrote the short film, 'The Most Wicked Storm,' an animated fable inspired by Shel Silverstein's 'The Giving Tree' and a childhood prank. In 2021 he continues to build his boutique production company, Shifted Industry, and will release the award winning short documentary "Pizza People," the feature documentary "The Diabetes Solution, and the dark comedy sh
