Josh Leong

Josh Leong is an award winning director based in New York City. He recently directed "The Other Side" in Ethiopia, starring Ethan Herisse from Ava DuVernay's Emmy-winning Netflix series, "When They See Us". His films have been screened at four Academy Award®-qualifying festivals and in 11 countries across the world. Awarded by President Obama and the House of Representatives for his United Nations film on human rights, Josh won a Scholastic American Visions Award and the One to Watch Award at the Asian American International Film Festival in 2020. He has since developed commercials for clients such as Google, Facebook, and Uber under 1st Ave Machine. Josh also interns with Circle of Confusion ("Black Panther", "The Florida Project") and De Line Pictures ("Ready Player One", "Green Lantern") under producer Donald De Line, former executive at Paramount Pictures and Walt Disney Studios.
