Biography

Katherine Ramdeen is a Canadian actress, born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, and a middle child of four. She is best-known for her performance as Alex Jones on The CW's long-running hit TV series Supernatural and it's shelved spin-off Wayward Sisters, reviving her character Alex. Alex, a former blood-slave suffering from slight Vampiric Stockholm Syndrome, is haunted by her traumatic childhood, but Alex a survivor and doesn't let her past get in the way of making herself a better future. Coming from a family uninvolved professionally in the arts, Katherine always admired the ability actors have to transport an audience into their own worlds, and is drawn to roles portraying characters who have suffered a great tragedy and are battling inner demons. Classically trained, Ramdeen moved to Vancouver, BC to pursue an acting career after acceptance in the prestigious Theatre Conservatory Studio 58.
