Jovel Roystan

Jovel Roystan is a NYC actor and content creator, born and bred in Houston, but based in BK. He returned to acting in 2018-a passion that began as a teenager-and has been an active student at Anthony Meindl's Actors Workshop for the past four years, focusing on both scene study and on-camera technique. A graduate of Morehouse College, he dived headfirst into the creative space as a lifestyle blogger in the AUC and has since transitioned the pastime into a full-time career, partnering with brands across the fashion, travel, and lifestyle categories. He recently hosted a 10-episode style series with Complex Networks and In The Know called The Guide, and can be found on YouTube and Instagram, where he works in the style sector, creating original content for men seeking to look and feel their best. Through his work in visual storytelling across social media, TV and film, he shares his unique take on life as a multi-hyphenate with other young dreamers like himself-you know, the ones who des
