Biography

A Native of Minas Gerais, Brazil, Maxwele D'Angelo grew up in Boston, Massachusetts where he dreamed of becoming an actor. An actor with the passion and intensity of Al Pacino and the playfulness and comedic timing of Robin Williams. His first role was portraying Nathan Detroit in a Middle School production of Guys and Dolls. "He was amazing!" said critics, his mom. His passion for acting landed him in New York City where he received his BFA at The Juilliard School. While at Juilliard, he played multiple roles including but not limited to: George Murchinson in A Raisin in the Sun, Tom Moody in Odets, The Golden Boy, Antiochus in Shakespeare's Pericles, and Tybalt, Balthazar and the Nurse in Shakespeare's R & J. While at Juilliard, he discovered his philanthropic side and became involved with ASTEP (Artist Striving to End poverty), where he taught drama to middle and high school students in Homestead, Florida.
