Biography

Having earned an MFA degree in Acting from the University of California~Davis, Phillip E. Walker has more than a half century of experience in "The Industry". With more that 250 productions shot during his first two (2) years in Hollywood, his "Entry Level Acting in LA: a hands-on, new actor full-time employment workbook" launched April 11, 2016 in Grauman's Egyptian Theater. PhilE's 3rd LA year opens with the premiere of his Inland Empire Film Festival which presents annually on Columbus Day. Fortunate enough to have never accepted a job outside of his field since graduating college, that Loyola University of Chicago renaissance man training helped PhilE build a diverse arts career including: multiple university theatre professorships throughout America such as chairing the Fisk University Speech & Drama Department; several arts administration positions such as the first ever California Arts Council Arts Touring Coordinator; creator/leader of more than ten (10) youth summer arts camps
