Sandrine Anterrion

Sandrine Anterrion was born in Martinique, French West Indies in 1974, into a working class family. She very early on developed skills for designing and drawing fashion. As a teenager, she acted in a few plays, and learned street theatre techniques. Throughout her life, she has carefully observed and analyzed body language: an opportunity which, because of her physical appearance, thousands of strangers would (subconsciously or otherwise) throw at her on a weekly basis. Naturally, she has therefore gathered a considerable amount of material for the following fields of study: acting and directing, dance and choreography, painting and illustration, music and textile psychology analysis. Sandrine has later on developed her own stage concepts, specifically for Opera. Dance was also part of her life story, from age 14: folkloric French West-Indian styles, West African, North African and Arabic, Brazilian, Funk. She created her dance theatre company in 2001, then taught Belly dance and other
