Biography

Born in 1983 in Landshut, Maximilian Dirr grew up in both Germany and Italy and today he is working in film and television in both countries. Maximilian Dirr first studied English and Spanish at the University "La Sapienza" in Rome between the 2004 and 2007, than he decided to study acting at Genoa's National Theatre Academy "Teatro Stabile di Genova" in Genoa, which he successfully completed in 2010. Right afterwords his studies he started working there as a member of the ensemble at the Teatro Stabile di Genova in numerous productions. Before he made his debut on German television with ZAPPELPHILIPP , which won the FIPA d'Or Award for Best TV Film Award 2013, directed by Connie Walther, Maximilian Dirr has already appeared in several Italian film and TV productions.
