Having conceptualized and perfected the secret to creating theatrical magic, she is an infinite creative source of knowledge on the inside track, with a finger on the pulse of the African-American community. Over the last three decades, Angela Barrow-Dunlap, has risen to the top of the urban theater world as creator of multi-million dollar grossing stage plays including If These Hips Could Talk, Why Good Girls Like Bad Boyz, Real Men Pray, My Sweet Potato Pie, Gossip Lies & Secrets, Church Girl, My Brother Marvin & many more. Barrow-Dunlap most recently served as Producer, Director & Playwright (with Marvin Gaye III & D'Extra Wiley) for Pride & Joy, The Marvin Gaye Musical which is currently being developed into a television mini-series. Expect to see much more as Barrow-Dunlap makes her mark in the worlds of film & television with several promising projects currently in development.
