Biography

Zack Scott is a "self Taught" Independent filmmakers getting most of what he learned about the filmmaking process by watching Documentaries and listening to Director's Commentaries. After dabbling in short films using a HI-8MM video camera and experimenting with Montage editing with two VCR's he decided to try his hand at making a feature film. In 2001, with $800.00 in his pocket and a month of Vacation time waiting to be used, He produced his first Feature film "The 28th Day". Shot on Digital Video and edited with Adobe Premiere he used everything that he learned from listening to Directors commentaries from such names as Robert Rodriguez, Sam Rami, Ben Burtt, and Tobe Hooper to make what he felt was a entertaining little horror comedy film. In 2006, he secured DVD distribution through Customflix and the film was available for purchase on Amazon.com.
