Biography

Janelle Schmidt was born in a small town in Wisconsin. She began acting in musicals at the age of 5 and later went on to earn a BA in acting and directing and a minor in vocal performance. She's had dozens of leading roles on the stage and then transitioned into film. Her credits include leading roles on the television shows "Evil Kin" and "When Ghosts Attack". She also had leading roles in the award winning indie films, "Consequences", "Ever After (Scene X)" and "Acceptance". She has done extra work on major motion pictures like "How Do You Know" and "In the Loop" and stunt work on the film"Salt". Local DC indie film credits include "Dinner at Eight" and "Our Last Supper". A versatile actress and singer, Janelle has also done industrial work and commercials, both in the Midwest and the D.C. area, where she now resides.
