James Koons

James is an actor and musician born in Washington DC. His family spent time in Cheltenham and London before moving back to Md. In 1990, James was attending community college in MD when he was hired a DC Police Officer. Having always dreamed of working in TV and film, in 1994 James got his first role as a background actor playing a police officer. "It wasn't a stretch but it was an amazing experience that confirmed that I wanted to be an actor". After 5 years, James left the police department. In 1998, after 12 years of home care, James lost his mother to Alzheimer's. "It was the hardest thing I'd ever been through. But it also made me realize Life is short and its important to chase your dreams". While working a multitude of other jobs, James continued to find background work in TV and Films such as 'Species II', 'Homicide Life on the Street' and 'Howard Sterns Private Parts' shot in NYC.
