Biography

Audrey Harris is an American actress and singer She was raised as an only child on the South Side of Chicago and learned that she was a creative at an early age. She began performing in her church gospel choir as well as in community theatre where she soon gained leading roles in both disciplines. Her love of the stage continued through her college years at Hampton University where she studied theatre/vocal performing arts. Her first television appearance was as a solo vocalist on the nationally syndicated competition show "Showtime at the Apollo". Shortly after, she garnered a small role on HBO's hit series "Six Feet Under". However, Audrey's first break came in 2007 when she landed the lead role of Renee Devereaux in the hit stage play "The Bachelorette Party" by Don B. Welch and in association with Will Smith.
