Marlene Manes fell in love with acting at an early age. While growing up she would find nothing more astounding than watching Vivien Leigh and Elizabeth Taylor movies, which helped ignite the acting flame in her. Her passion for film, inspired by the magic of affecting people's hearts in movie theaters, has been the main force that fuels her journey as an artist. Born in Portland Oregon to Romanian parents, Marlene is a dual citizen and speaks both English and Romanian with no accent embodying both the genuine American sentiment as well as an international spirit. Marlene has had many opportunities to play an eclectic range of characters, having no qualms transforming from a romantic lead to a mental patient, or from playing Mrs. Rowland from Before Breakfast on stage to playing ingénues in period pieces which suit her perfectly.
