Biography

Daniel Rocha is a Brazilian actor and musician (violinist). Daniel Rocha began his studies in performing arts in 2007, aged 17, at the renowned CPT (Center for Theatre Research), one of the most important training centers in Latin America, directed by Antunes Filho, one of the greatest theater directors in history. He graduated in 2011, and his first job on television was on TV Globo, in the acclaimed soap opera "Brazil Avenue" (2012), created by João Emanuel Carneiro ("Central Station"), winner of the International Emmy for Best Soap Opera. Daniel, in the main cast, played Roni. On TV Globo, he became one of the biggest highlights of Brazilian TV, playing João Lucas, one of the main characters in the soap opera "Empire" (2014), created by Aguinaldo Silva, which also won the International Emmy for Best Soap Opera.
