Biography

Born in Ft. Benning, Georgia, son to Henry Bazemore and Loretta Faye Bazemore, Henry Bazemore Jr.'s parents relocated to Flint, MI, taking advantage at that time of the growing automotive Industry. It was there that he grew up from humble beginnings. Remaining close to home, he attended the University of Michigan. A year before graduation Henry was coaxed into auditioning for an open casting call of the Tony Award winning play, The Grapes of Wrath. It was there, that he caught the acting bug. Henry received a B.A. in English with a specialization in writing, and a minor in theatre. Upon graduation, Henry was accepted to a number of Acting Graduate programs in the U.S. including, the prestigious Cal Arts, and DePaul University. Deciding to study at The University of Georgia on a full ride scholarship, he supplemented his education at the Actor's Studio in Atlanta and on the professional stage.
