Nene Nwoko

Nene Nwoko is an actress and producer known for Bob Hearts Abishola, S.W.A.T. and The Chosen. While studying Management Information Systems at the University of Texas at Arlington, Nene was cast in multiple school productions by the African Students Organization. After a few post college opportunities to act in some films, she applied and was accepted into The Identity School of Acting. Born and raised in Nigeria, Nene is the youngest of five children. Her parents are the late principal and educator Prince Martin Ezedimbu Nwoko, and retired Deputy Provost and African music composer Elsie Ezinwa Nwoko. Nene grew up in a household infused with art and education. In elementary and high school, she spent much of her time performing in school productions. With years of experience in the corporate world, combined with her love of the performing arts, Nene founded a production company dedicated to telling stories that make the heart smile.
