Christian DeMarais

Christian DeMarais is best known for his roles in Maniac (Netflix), The Equalizer (CBS), Mr. Robot (USA) and Elementary (CBS). He holds an MFA in Acting from the prestigious NYU Graduate Acting Program at Tisch. Born in Wichita Falls, TX to Robert (a Nutritionist) and Deborah (a Pediatrician), DeMarais has one sister (Adrienne), with whom he was raised in Shoreview, MN. Initially trained as a dancer (with a specialty in Rhythm Tap), DeMarais toured the United States with the Keane Sense of Rhythm Tap Ensemble and performed in Poland, Peru and at the Beijing International Arts Festival. After graduating with a BA in Business Management and Honors Theatre from Gustavus Adolphus College, DeMarais received his MFA from NYU Graduate Acting. DeMarais has worked Off-Broadway at the world-renowned Public Theatre and the Obie-Award winning Red Bull Theater.
