K.D. Chalk

K.D. Chalk is an award-winning actor and filmmaker from Rural Hall, North Carolina. Chalk starred opposite Jake Johnson in the television pilot HABATA directed by Josh Greenbaum. She can also be seen in SECOND CITY PRESENTS "LAST MAN ON EARTH" and as a recurring role one DAYS OF OUR LIVES. K.D. won the ABFF NBC Universal Star Project and also received an Audelco Award for Excellence in Black Theatre. As a filmmaker her films have been official selections in Bentonville Film Festival, American Black Film Festival, Finalist in Funny or Die's Make'm LAFF competition with the Los Angeles Film Festival, Cannes Short Film Corner, and Broad Humor Film Festival (THE OPENERS Winner of Best Short). Most recently, K.D. and her husband Chris Chalk's feature film, FAREWELL, premiered at the 2020 Bentonville Film Festival winning Best First Feature.
