Biography

Victor Toman dabbled in acting from an early age. It wasn't until he went to the University of Oregon that he got very serious about pursuing it as a career. After he received a B.A. in Dramatic Arts he moved to San Francisco. Victor joined the Tony Award-winning San Francisco Mime Troupe in 1997 and toured nationally and internationally as a principal actor in the company for over 10 years. Other Bay Area theater and dance credits include: Sideshow Physical Theater, El Teatro de la Esperanza, Berkeley Repertory Theater, The Joe Good Performance Group and The Dance Brigade to name a few. Outside the Bay Area he has performed with The Caravan Stage Company in Toronto, and Mixed Blood Theatre in Minneapolis. In 2008 Victor graduated from UC Davis with an MFA in Dramatic Arts. In 2012 Victor landed a small part in the feature film Fruitvale Station starring Michael B. Jordan and directed by Ryan Coogler. He has also been directing and teaching theatre for over 20 years.
