Stephen Dexter

Stephen is an award-winning and professionally trained actor, writer, activist, and bestselling audiobook narrator. A native of Connecticut, his father ran his own property tax consulting business out of the family home and his mother was in banking. Stephen received his BA in Film Studies/Creative Writing from Central Connecticut State University before moving to NYC to attend the Stella Adler Studio of Acting's MFA Conservatory. Soon after graduating, he began performing and developing new work at famed NY theatre companies such as Rattlestick Playwrights Theatre, New York Theatre Workshop, the LAByrinth Theatre Company, Primary Stages (Rockwell Fellowship-winner), The New Group, Playwrights Horizons, and the legendary Actors Studio, where he is a lifetime member.
