Joey Duckworth

Joey Duckworth is from Stanley, North Carolina and resides in Catawba County, NC. A 2005 graduate of East Gaston High School, he developed an interest in high school theater when all other activities were limited due to a part time job working on the weekends. Joey achieved the Gaston County's All County Cast Award in 2004 and went on to win the Fr. John Oetgen Theater Scholarship to Belmont Abbey College in 2005. The interest in theater became a love and he graduated from Belmont Abbey in 2009 with a Theater Minor. Joey greatly enjoyed his time as an Abbey Player having performed in many productions from 2005-2011. He has met and made many dear friends involved in local film and theater over the years with hopes of making many more in the future.
