Laura Palka

Laura Palka began her professional acting career in 2009 after two decades as a News Anchor and Reporter in TV markets across the country. She has had guest starring roles in several TV Series including "Homeland", "Rectify", "The Red Road", "Powers" and "Good Behavior", as well as the 2016 comedy feature film "Masterminds" directed by Jared Hess/produced by Lorne Michaels. She will appear next in "The Outsider", an HBO miniseries based on the best selling Stephen King novel - starring Jason Bateman and Ben Mendehlson. Palka is a native of Detroit, Michigan and a graduate of Wayne State University with a B.A. in Journalism. She is the recipient of several Associated Press Awards and an Edward R. Murrow Award for Station Spot News - Live Reporting.
