Jeff Maher is a an award-winning television news journalist working for KOB (NBC) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. His reports have been seen on NBC News, MSNBC, CNN, The Today Show, Inside Edition, The Weather Channel, CNBC, and Animal Planet. His first award from the Associated Press came from his extensive coverage of Hurrican Rita in 2006 when he was working for KWES (NBC) in Midland, Texas. Since then he has been honored for various reports by the New Mexico Broadcasters Association and the Associated Press. The first story he ever covered was when he was 19 years old with the Columbine shooting in Littleton, Colorado in 1999. Maher is a third-generation broadcaster.
